In a hole in the ground there will be a wedding.
Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell.
Nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat:
We are deeming it a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.
Historically, the Loco Klub housed the ash pit tunnels for Bristol Temple Meads railway station. Now clear of its ashy past, the stark, brick, interconnected tunnels are the perfectly strange backdrop for our wedding.
On Thursday 21st May 2026 we will be transforming these tunnels into our wedding ceremony aisle, a cosy seated meal, a fully loaded bar and a party hub.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Exit through the main entrance doors. You're in the right place if you see taxis.

Walk along the cobbled street down to the main road.

You will have reached the main road once you see a traffic light junction. Turn right.

After turning right, there is a beautiful stone arch to your right. Walk through the arch.

You should see a car park. Walk along this until you spot a tunnel to your right.

You should see some metal doors - the wedding is this way! Adjust that tie, swish that skirt, let's go!

The Loco Klub is hidden around the back of Temple Meads Station. Luckily, there are many buses that can take you there!
Bristol runs its buses via First Bus.
You can check your route from First Bus directly here or Google Maps here.
Routes that end up at Temple Meads are:
1, 2, 9, 16, 39, 43, 73, X39, X91 - and the metrobus m2
Once you've arrived at the bus stop:
If you're dropped off near the station entrance, walk down towards the main road.

There is a car park directly opposite the entrance to Loco, called The Friary Car Park. It is covered by RingGo which allows you to pay for parking online with your phone via an app.
But beware this is the main car park for the train station. This means high parking fees and a low likelihood of spaces being available during the day.
If you're unable to use public transport, be prepared to hunt for a parking space!

Walk through the car park towards the station building - look for a tunnel arch.
